With a billion blogs in internet land... why would you stop by and read mine?
What could I have to share with you that already hasn't been said by someone wiser, smarter or better looking?
Here's a couple reasons why. I'm real and live in the real world.
I'm more than middle aged, I'm overweight, live with depression and an autoimmune disease.
I'm a full time care giver to my adult disabled daughter.
Divorced and my love life is deader than lobster in butter sauce.
But with all of that said, I'm full of Joy because I have Jesus. My life isn't perfect by any means but I know I can overcome and conquer anything because I've got hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorites scriptures.
"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Some take this scripture out of context and think God is going to paint us a carefree future. That's just not so and if you've been a Christian long enough you know that already.
Our best growth as Christians come from trials. When others see how we handle difficult times
with patience, kindness, peace, compassion, empathy and love.
But what I do know about this scripture is that God has a glorious future for us filled with hope, prosperity and peace.
